Gateway to the Thar Desert – Hotel Suryagarh, Jaisalmer
Golden sandstone edifice, constructed on bare scrub desert, depicts 200-year old regal Jaisalmer architecture, which is a mixture of Rajput and Mughal architecture, with little European influence. We perfectly amalgamated the traditional royal conveniences with modern ones to synthesise old world charm and modern day comfort. We also incorporated our unique selling proposition (USP) of construction without steel in many portions by using only stone and mortar masonry.

A residence with a royal touch
Situated in outskirts of Jaipur, this newly constructed residence has a royal touch with a traditional construction techniques.
The landscape emphasises a man made forest and where waterbodies are now home to migrating birds.
The glory of the ' past architecture' has been re-inacted through use of Surkhi (lime mortar), carved stone screens, carved pillars brackets, etc. To facilitate aging of the structure the surkhi mortar in exteriors was intentionally left non painted.
Interiors are complemented by sand stone flooring and by traditional khamira paint, with some decorative art work by local artisans.
